(Blazer & Top: Zara // Shorts: Wolf in Sheep's Clothing // Shoes: from HK)

Hey, guys! I'm back from my 4-day trip to Palawan. I'm a bit exhausted from all the water dips and fish ogling we did but I'm not complaining though...the Palawan experience is truly something I will stow in my memory bank forever. Anyhoo, here are some photos from Day 1, upon arrival at Busuanga Airport. We were greeted with lush greenery and a herd of cattle as we left the airport en route to Mommita's Place (where we stayed for 4 days). Will post beautiful photos of our Palawan adventure in the coming days so do watch out for it.

In the meantime, please do check out the new uploads in the SHOP. I'm sure you'll find something you'll fancy.

P.S. Thank you to all of the heartwarming comments you left while I was away. You guys always inspire me. :)

Before I Take A Break...

Thursday, June 23, 2011

(Top: Dark White // Leggings with leather panels: Mango // Shoes: Aldo // Eyewear: H&M // Hat: Zara)

Before I head out to Palawan tomorrow, I'm leaving you guys with this outfit post. Nothing fancy here...just a simple trapeze top and Ikat-print wedges for a pop of color.

P.S. The current heavy downpour is such a killer! I really hope our trip pushes through tomorrow as I hate to see this beach escapade go to waste.

P.P.S. Changed my music to "Pure Shores", the ultimate beach song. Enjoy!

Early Birthday Presents

Wednesday, June 22, 2011

My birthday is coming up so I decided to spoil myself with a few early birthday presents!

Such as...

New lippie from MAC

I got the Hibiscus shade (a pretty coral hue) from the Surf Baby collection.

A beach trip to Coron, Palawan

They say Palawan is a water baby's paradise and I'm already psyching myself to be blown away by Coron's beautiful waters and landscape. I just hope Mrs. Weather won't rain on our beach escapade. Beach bound, June 24-27. Woot!

And lastly...

Jeffrey Campbell "Lana" in Leopard Suede

I received these babies yesterday and I was surprised at how huge they are. They're even bigger than the Litas! Oh geez, on my big feet, they'll definitely look 10x bigger...but I still love them. But all of these fleeting sources of joy aside, all I pray for on my birthday is happiness and the absence of stress. WISH.ME.LUCK.

In Mochi Heaven

Tuesday, June 21, 2011

Ever since got a taste of Sophie's Mom's sweet treats during the Bloggers United Bazaar, I couldn't stop thinking about them. I would literally daydream about sinking my teeth onto a delicious ball of Strawberries & Cream mochi ice cream and a luscious mochi truffle. So two weeks ago, I finally caved in to my craving and ordered boxes of Nutella truffle mochi and mochi ice cream (in different flavors)!

Aaah...just look at these delicate mochi truffles. They're covered with cocoa powder and have a Nutella filling. Too sinful!
And of course, the reason for my endless hunger pangs...super yummy mochi ice cream! They come in different flavors such as Strawberries & Cream, Frozen Brazo, Chocolate Valrhona, Lemon Meringue, Cookie Dough and Vanilla.
My favorite mochi ice cream flavor? Strawberries & Cream. Hands down.

I've already tried the mochi ice cream from F.I.C. but it doesn't compare to the ones from Sophie's Mom. The mochi in FIC is just too thin (almost crepe-like) while the mochi of Sophie's Mom is really gummy, just the way I like it! Oh man, just looking at these photos makes me crave for mochi ice cream again! I can't wait for my next order. :)

You can order these sinful treats at:

You can also catch Sophie's Mom at the Shoe In Love bazaar on June 25 & 26. They will be releasing three new mochi ice cream flavors: Rocky Road, Banoffee and Red Velvet & Cream Cheese. You shouldn't dare miss these!

Black & Taupe

Monday, June 20, 2011

(Dress: Topshop // Cord Belt: F21 // Boots: Jeffrey Campbell // Cuff: ASOS // Necklace & Rings: Gold Dot)

It's amazing how monstrous shoes such as these Litas can easily transform a lackluster piece of clothing into something a bit more interesting. Now imagine me wearing this simple black dress with flats or summer wedges...it would have been a whole different story. Thank goodness I can rely on my magical platforms to save a boring-outfit-day.

Lazy Sunday

Friday, June 17, 2011

Dress: Zara // Sandals & Bag: from HK // Cuff: ASOS // Cord Belt & Feather Necklace: H&M)

Sundays are best enjoyed just driving around villages, pigging out and watching TV with a tub of white cheddar cheese popcorn. Hence, there is really no reason to dress up fancy. A slouchy dress with flats for comfort will do.

P.S. I can't remember the last time I wore gladiator flats. I'm actually beginning to have a fascination for it again. I'm on the lookout for tall ones that hit just below the knees.

No One Ever Does It Like That Anymore

Wednesday, June 15, 2011

(Crochet Top: FashionDime Manila // Pants: Topshop // Clog Platforms: F&H // Silver Cuff: F21)

Can't get enough of these clog platforms. I've been wearing them out almost everyday, pairing them with dresses, jeans and shorts. I'm pretty sure they would look dope with bell bottom jeans as they have a 70's vibe going on in them. Now, if only I have the perfect pair of flared pants. *Wink, wink*

P.S. Thank you to all of the regular readers and new followers of this blog. You guys inspire me! :)

Ombre Sky

Tuesday, June 14, 2011

(Suede Skirt, Cord Belt, Stone Ring: H&M // Cover Up worn as a top: Vanilla Label // Boots: Jeffrey Campbell // Sabertooth Tiger Ring: Unisex)

It has become a hobby of mine recently to wait for the sun to set and then capture its beautiful ombre trail with the camera lens. On good days, I see about four to five different hues thrown in the sky: orange, purple, pink, dark blue and peach.

I definitely enjoy sunsets over sunrise.

Nude Blush

Monday, June 6, 2011

(Blazer: courtesy of Poisonberry // Shorts: Topshop // Crochet Top: Fashiondime Manila // Feather Earring: courtesy of Maris // Wedges: courtesy of Asian Vogue // Feather Bracelet: Sea Feather)

I'm wearing a gorgeous shrunken "Tiffany" blazer from Poisonberry's Holiday 2010 collection. I just love its tailored shape, black lapels and nude blush hue. I paired it with leather shorts, a crochet top and a pair of spankin' cool wedges from Asian Vogue for a more relaxed look. Finished off the whole ensemble with a pop of color from accessory du jour: plumage! If you're looking for fashionable pairs of shoes, I suggest you drop by Asian Vogue. They've got a wide selection of footwear which are very on trend and which won't break your wallet.

P.S. The Tiffany blazer is also available in a yummy shade of baby pink. Get yourself one HERE

P.P.S. Thanks once again to Mika Artienda for the feather earring! Get your plumage trinket fix at Maris Online.
